Rainy Day Project

I mentioned in an earlier post that I was working on a project, in which I needed these awesome antique buttons..........

Well yesterday was the perfect day for me to finish my project, due to the awesome weather we had here in Vienna (NOT). It rained all day! We planned on visiting the Vienna Zoo and actually drove there, got out of the car and were about to walk in, (in the rain yes), but Jon was like "dude I'm not feeling this." We both started laughing and said LET'S GO! So we went back to the apartment and spent the entire day watching True Blood all over again. It actually was great, I guess we needed that!

Back to my project (I tend to get a little sidetracked) I finished what I was working on and thought I'd share it.
Lemme know what ya'll think!

It's a mini scarf with buttons as you can see.......
I loved the idea of a mini scarf because well, I just thought it was cool. I made it adjustable so that it can be worn tight or loose.

Hey.... maybe these will be a big hit and I can mass produce them and sell them all over the world! Ha, hey a girl can dream can't she ;)

ALSO
If you would like to see more pictures from Bratislava, Slovakia (I took almost 100) just click on this LINK and check them out.

Have a great Monday!

That's a cool scarf! Although, I'm not digging the color.

Thanks Bella!! It was actually left over yarn that I had and brought with me to Vienna! I'll have to make one in another color.... the first "test" scarf is always worst.

Great job! I love it. Perhaps you could make a turquoise one and sell it to me? Just a thought. :)

I'm so with you on the weather. This is the first really sunny, semi-warm day since the month I've been in Italy! I'm so tired of rain!

That scarf is pretty awesome! I would totally buy one. The buttons really do make such a difference on it.

Wow! I am not a crafty person at all and I'm feeling a little jealous of your craftyness right now! (I'm pretty sure I either just made that word up or I needed to change the y to an i) I need a hobby that doesn't require me making anything. Hmmm...

Anyway..I like it...even the color! Good job!

I like it. I've never seen a mini scarf like that, I like how it could tuck into the collar of my peacoat and not be too bulky.
You should so try to sell them

Steph! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pictures!! Especially the ones that look like an old castle or fort! I am so jealous, I can't even begin to describe it. I hope I get lucky enough to go to Europe some day!

Super cute scarf! Again, super jealous because I am not creative at all!

I love the mini scarf! You are so creative.

I kept my eyes opened at An Affair of the Heart for antique buttons, but never saw any.

I'm so sorry it's rained so much while you've been there. Are we ever going to get to see a video of you singing "The hills are alive with the sound of music?!!"

That's the coolest scarf. My daughter would love one. My oldest daughter does a fair amount of knitting. I will have to show her this post.
