8 Miles Through Vienna

Photos from my day trek through downtown Vienna.

Rathaus

The Votivkirche Built in 1879, Neo Gothic Architecture

St. Stephen's Cathedral, in the center of downtown Vienna

A couple of pictures from the inside the the St. Stephen's Cathedral

When Jon arrived back from work, we walked down by the canal and I captured these pictures.

A swarm of seagulls surround this woman as she's feeding them. I start singing, "feed the birds, toppins a bag," gotta love Marry Poppins.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND.

I would've SO taken a picture of the Love thing too!!

Ohhhh how I miss the cobblestone streets. Take me back! Actually, my friend's grandparents have a house in Austria and they invited me to stay the entire summer with them.

I chose Texas with the hubby instead! Hahahahha. Oh I kick myself. Just kidding. ;)

I found your blog through Truffles on Tuesday and was intrigued by your comment left there. First of all my mother was born in May year of the boar, my daughter born June 6th and I was born in August and my sister was born in Wiesbaden. It was really the fact that you said you lived in Wiesbaden that caught my eye. I think Wiesbaden is one of my favorite cities in the world. Your photographs and blog are visual eye candy for me.

I know these pictures don't do it justice but omg! So beautiful!! Can we become friends in real life so I can come visit you?

Okay...so with that pesky non-commenter...I say dump 'em! You'll feel better! You know they are always looking for the number of followers to go up! Imagine their surprise when the number of followers goes down!! *insert an evil laugh here*

Awww, more beautiful pictures.
I just love those cathedrals.

I think my favorite picture is the last one.

We enjoyed Brian's birthday Fri. evening and then I went to Kristen's to spend the night and we were at An Affair of the Heart for several hours on Sat. It was fun, but wore this old lady out!!!

I'll be posting about it sometime today.

Brian said he got his birthday call from you and Jon.
He is one loved little guy. Thanks for being such a good friend.

Enjoy this day....
Love,
Val
