100th Post & Giveaways!

Whew, I'm finally back home to lovely Germany. Austria was great, but two weeks away from home can be very tiring, not to mention the fact that I got sick the last part of our trip (and was sick all day Valentine's Day.) Sadly I didn't get to run through a field in Salzburg singing "The hills are alive with the sound of music." But you can bet I will be doing that this summer, when the hills are not covered with snow ;) And seriously, someone's gotta teach this Okie how to walk on cobblestones. I tripped almost everytime I went out and about. Luckily I have cat like reflexes and didn't fall flat on my face. (I really don't have cat like reflexes I was just lucky.)

Thanks to everyone who commented for me to get better and feel well!

Now to the exciting part of this post. Since it is my 100th post, I thought what better than to use this as an excuse to do a giveaway OR two! This is my VERY first giveaway and I'm very excited about it!

My first giveaway is my Viennese Bottle Art Giveaway!

Whilst Jon and I were visiting Vienna, we stumbled across a small wine shop located downtown, right across the street from the St. Stephen's Cathedral. After talking with the manager about Austrian wines we noticed several wine bottles that had been transformed into fun pieces of art; hence the name Bottle Art.

After we bought one for ourselves, I immediately thought this would make a great giveaway, since the manager said that they are handmade in Austria and that they are the exclusive dealer.

Here are pictures of my first giveaway........

I love these! They are the perfect little piece.
In the picture you can see that they can also be used as a serving platter for grapes or cheese, for example.
Ours is holding a candle and wine corks.

My second giveaway is my Mini-Scarf Me Giveaway!
As I've mentioned in earlier posts, I love to crochet scarves. While we were in Austria, I thought of the idea of making a mini scarf with antique buttons, that I found at a local antique store in Vienna. After blogging about my fun handmade hobby, it was suggested to me to use this as a giveaway! So I'm giving it away!

The color is a deep turquoise and the buttons are very old and have a vintage pattern to them. I added two buttons to the scarf, depending on how tight or loose you want to wear it.

So if you'd like to be added to these giveaways.....

1. Comment me for: 1 Entry
(Let me know which one you'd like or if you want to be added to both giveaways that's awesome, just give me a heads up.)

2. Comment & Become a follower of this blog for: 2 Entries
(To my followers let me know you are already a follower and I'll add you in for two entries)

3. Comment/Follow and post these giveaways on your blog for: 3 Entries

Be sure to let me know what of the 3 you have done!

I will be ending this giveaway on March 1st. Good luck everyone!

I have never understood how all the sassy European women run around in stilettos on those cobblestones. I can't walk in stilettos on flat ground, forget the unforgiving cobblestones.

I am already a follower!

I'm so glad to hear that you made it home safely and you're feeling better! And I wouldn't even want to see me on those cobblestones...it would be just plain scary!

I absolutely love that scarf! I'm obsessed with vintage and scarves so I would love to win it!
I'm a follower and I posted on my blog.

Btw...I think you should consider opening an etsy shop for your scarves:)

That wine bottle art is amazing! I love it! I am going to look for one online somewhere, it would go great with all of my other wine stuff on my kitchen island or as a serving tray for a party! The pictures from your trip looked like so much fun!

Yayy, I love giveaways. The bottle art is really unique, and I love recycled stuff. It's always neat to find a new purpose for 'trash'.
I love the turquoise by the way, great color choice.

I'm so sorry! I didn't even know you were sick. I'm glad you are feeling better though. You know...we should just go to Salzburg together this summer. Two Okies twirling in a field singing "The Hills Are Alive" It doesn't get any better than that. :)

I love both items you have for your giveaway! I'm torn between the two......I think I'm going to go with the scarf though because I love the color and it's just fab.

Oh..and I'll mention you on my blog today too.

Glad to hear you guys made it home safe and sound! You must be so happy to see your brother!
