Technology.....

Seriously, WHAT would we do without it?? I never realized how much I turn to the internet on a daily basis, until I was without for OVER A WEEK! Let me just tell ya'll, it was a VERY long week. I baked and cooked A LOT... which made Jon a very happy guy. But now we finally have our computer sorted and it's back to being my number 1 source to the outside world. I feel like I am so out of the loop on what's going on in the world. I've missed blogging and reading blogs so much. I actually tried to post a blog from my iPhone, but I wasn't even clever enough to figure that one out. So I really am back now guys, and I can't wait to catch up with everyone. That is if I still have any followers... ;)

So I left off with my last post about Tuscany and I told my family, friends, and ya'll that I'd post pictures from our trip to Rome.... so without further ado...... here are a few pictures.

We visited the Trevi Fountain when we first arrived in Rome.
Seeing it at night was incredible.
Then we headed over to the Spanish Steps,
Which as you can see were packed with people. The next day we visited the Colosseum.
The Arch of Constantine
Inside the Colosseum
We also walked around the area and saw Palatine Hill and the Forum.

On the third day of our trip we took a train over to Naples,
and then on to Pompeii. Although Naples was my least favorite city in Italy,
it was a treat to see Pompeii. Here are pictures from our day trip.

We also visited the Vatican Museum on the last day of our trip to Rome.
The museum was incredible, but my favorite part were the ceilings.
We also saw the Sistine Chapel, but sadly, no pictures were allowed.

Here are pictures of the ceilings.

I hope you enjoyed pictures from the the rest of our trip to Italy! This post is long overdo, but I really wanted to share them with ya'll.

It's a big weekend for the SOONERS! We play Texas in Dallas and it is going to be a very exciting game. We finally got Sam Bradford back last week after his injury, and I hope he plays a great game this weekend. I am super stoked about it, because we actually get to watch it on television and it is going to air at a normal time here. We won't have to wake up at 4:00 a.m. to watch it like we normally do!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Stay warm!

I am always so jealous of your pictures! I would DIE without internet that long...if I was at home. Obviously, on vacation I don't have internet, but then I'm distracted. And that helps.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow! I'm glad the unreasonably early time works for you. I'm a little insulted that we got bumped from prime time. I mean, this is the Red River Shootout!! (Regardless of what ESPN or the PC crowd says, it's still the Shootout to me. Were you here last year when they said we had to change it to "Red River Rivalry" because that was less combative or something? Lame.)

OOOH the beautiful blue skies in the pictures of the coliseum make me so jealous. It's been too rainy here!

I'm excited for the red river shootout. Despite being a Gator fan, I LOVE college football and the historic rivalries within it!

Ugh! I hate it when my computer or internet is having problems!

And I just loved Italy, I wish I had more time in the Vatican, but I was sneaky and managed to get a few of the Sistine Chapel!
