Well hello my lovely blogging friends! How was your weekend?? I hope it was fantastic!
Ours was pretty great! Except for the loss of our Sooners and the fact that Sam Bradford got injurged AGAIN...... poor guy.
I thought we played pretty well, besides the fact that we had 5 turnovers! But, I'm not going to get into that, as my blood pressure is already rising. ;)Ours was pretty great! Except for the loss of our Sooners and the fact that Sam Bradford got injurged AGAIN...... poor guy.
Jon, me, Christiane and DamonEven though we lost we all still had a great time!
It's a brilliant movie, I LOVED it, but I pretty much love all genres.
That is about the extent of our weekend!
Jon left this morning for TDY to Koln (Cologne) and I'll be joining him tomorrow evening. I am so excited to see Koln again. I hope we have great weather, the last two times we traveled there it rained. Also, there is a great MEXICAN restaurant there where you can bet I'll be eating my weight in chips and salsa and guacamole. Mexican food is by far the number 1 thing I miss the most about living in the states. Be ready for lots more pictures! (Not of me gorging on Mexican food, but of Cologne itself.)Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
Oh and just for laughs: Since we're getting closer to Halloween, I'm sure most of you have seen this costume on Yahoo, but if not, here it is for your viewing pleasure. I know I got a kick out of it. OCTOMOM! Isn't the terrible but also hilarious at the same time....

I love how all of us Okies miss Mexican food so much. I'm right there with you on craving it.
Sorry you guys lost...I gave Sean a hard time about it, just because we are a "house divided" but he took it pretty well.
That Octomom costume is the best! :)
So glad you had a great weekend! You just get more & more gorgeous in all of your pics! :)
Sounds like a fun weekend! Your hair looks amazing by the way, I'm sure it always looks like this! :)
What a fab weekend!!
It was a really good game, though. I love games where you don't know who will win til the very end! (of course it made me happy that my team won...hehe)
That was the most intense game of the season!! The thing that gets me though - Texas didn't really play any better than we did. Landry at least had a higher completion percentage than Colt. How have they stayed undefeated all season? Oh, that's right, the same way Florida does - playing crap teams all season and 2 or 3 real ranked teams. Unlike OU, who has the most difficult schedule in the country. If Texas stays undefeated and goes to the Rose Bowl and faces either Florida or Alabama, I can see them crashing and burning - which would make me a little sad, because if we can't go, I'd like another Big 12 team to take it. But whatever.
Mmm...Mexican! I haven't had Mexican in so long. Sounds yummy. Is their German Mexican food like our Oklahoma Chinese food?
ha! that costume is too funny!!
glad you two had a great weekend :) looks like fun! and lazy sundays are the best!
Go Horns! I did feel sad for Bradford, poor guy...glad you guys got to see the game. We did play like shit so I can't be too happy.
Lazy Sunday's rock!
Haha, that costume is too funny! This was my first time in Texas experiencing the craziness that is the UT/OU matchup--it was pretty nuts here!
I missed your weekend updates! I'm glad your back! That's great that you were able to watch the game!
oh my gosh that costume is hilarious! At first I didn't see the babies, but then it all made sense after I realized what they were!
So funny! And Roll Tide! Sooners stink! Just kidding :) I go for them when they play!
Bahah! That costume is awesome! And dude. I felt SO badly for Sam Bradford! I mean.. he's killing his career here... :( Poor guy.
hahahha love the octomon picture
p.s. the picnic backpack is going to make another trip this weekend for our anniversary! yay!
I was THIS close to renting The Brother's Bloom today. Now I wish I had. :(
