Back in Qatar... Again!

Well hello lovely friends, family, and blogging buddies! So glad you stopped by The Adventures of Jon and Steph. I hope y'all are having a fantastic day!!

We have returned to Qatar for a couple of weeks. Jon has another business trip here so I came to tag along! The flight was okay, minus the fact that I was sitting next to a man with the STINKIEST feet ever. I'm not kidding when I say this, they were rank... like stomach churning wrong! I kept thinking that the smell would go away if I drank several glasses of wine, but even my buzz couldn't mask the incredible smell. Whew, someone get that man some foot powder, like stat!! I almost bought some freaking perfume from the duty free just so I could spray it on his feet. Dear Sir... Please wear socks with your shoes and out of respect for everyone on the plane, especially this girl named Stephanie.... DON'T TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF! Okay enough of that...

When we arrived to our hotel we were pleasantly surprised that we were given an upgrade. I think it was a gift from God, since I was stuck by the funky feet man. With this upgrade we both get free breakfast, free drinks during happy hour and have access to the executive lounge. Ya, we're pretty high class... Not really, But seriously, I am pretty stoked. All of the employees at this hotel are incredibly nice. Everyone goes out of their way to say hello, so I'm constantly saying hello as I walk through the hotel. It's incredibly different compared to Germany and is kind of nice for a change!

As for the trip here we're planning to do a little four wheeling and check out some mangrove swamps in another city. Hopefully our training for the 1/2 marathon won't get too out of whack! We're a little behind, but I think we'll push through it and be ready for the big race in May.

I'll be posting pictures from our continued adventures in Qatar!

But before I go, I wanted to share just a few of the pictures I took from the wedding I posted about last week. I had so much fun photographing this wedding! I have never done anything like this before, but it really was a great time. I don't consider myself a photographer by any means, so it was so nice when Christin asked me to take pictures, it was a huge compliment to me. So here are a couple I'd like to share...

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY! The week is already half way done!
Until next time, farewell from Qatar!

Beautiful photos! I hope you have a fantastic trip!

I have to say, that's part of the reason I always wear flipflops when I fly, no matter the time of year. I'm never comfortable in shoes on planes (I think my feet swell) and it's just plain rude to take your shoes off! Yucky. Not to mention the airport security....but that's another rant altogether....

Hey girl! I've been a bad blogger too...I hate it when I do that!

I was cracking up when I read on FB about the stinky feet man! I should say I cringed first and then laughed! You poor thing! What the hell is wrong with a person that they would think it's okay to take their damn shoes off on a plane?! Seriously!
