The Burg

Sunday Jon and I visited the Burg Castle in Eppstein, just about a 5 minute drive from the Falkenstein castle. We were a little disappointed that it was closed, but I was still able to get a couple of pictures. I thought I'd share them with you.

I love the sky and the trees in this picture.
The beautiful walkway to the entrance.
Looking up at the castle wallsI believe this is the castle entrance.A beautiful church from the view at the top.

Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday.

Added in: I usually make lunch everyday for Jon and me, but we are getting so bored with the same stuff. We usually eat salad or sandwiches. Do you guys have any good suggestions to add some excitement to our lunches? I mean you can only make so many different types of sandwiches and salads! I'd love any input!!! Thanks a bunch ;)

I'm so jealous of your life experiences that I just really want to hate you but I can't. I'm in LIKE with your blog and all the pictures that you post.

For lunch, I usually have some leftovers from dinner or some yummy soup or tuna salad with crackers and some shots of tequila for dessert.

Great pics! You are so lucky to live there!

lunch? I'm the wrong person to ask. I eat a Smart Ones every day for lunch at work...sandwiches and salads sound awesome compared!

You could make different kinds of quesadilla. We like to do breakfast for lunch sometimes and have omelettes. It really is hard to come up w/recipes.. that is why I started that recipe blog b/c tons of people seems to need ideas, including myself!

I just love reading your blog and seeing all the cool, awesome, wonderful, exciting, beautiful places you get to focus in on with your camera! Ahhhh, makes me really really REALLY want to move there like soon! I'm not a good one to give advise on the food thing for lunch seeing as I mostly have to do the healthy choice thing...If I didn't do that then it would be the food court and that would not be wise on a daily basis! lol...Your wonderful!!!

I use eatingwell.com and look up recipes I can make over the weekend, usually a casserole or soup and then that's what Don has for lunch over the week. I've also got a good article from the NY Times on 101 picnic ideas that's given us some yummy ideas. I'll send it to you later.
