Look What I Can Do!

The very first thing I've learned to do on Photoshop Elements (thanks to Allison at The Displaced Texan) is this!

I am so excited, I know how to do ONE thing on Photoshop now!

Thanks so much Allison for the little tutorial on your blog! Now that I have learned this, I can't wait to start playing around with some of my other pictures to see what I can come up with.

My entire life I have never been an "instructions" kind of person.

For instance when we go to Ikea and get a new piece of furniture, I ask Jon to read the instructions and then have him explain it to me! How bad is that???? I would rather just try to put together a book case or a coffee table on my own without reading the instructions! Of course it usually doesn't work out too well and I have to revert to reading them.

When I got Photoshop for my birthday, I thought it was going to be a breeze to figure out, I mean I thought knowing everything I know about computers and software that I would have no problem! Well it was rude awakening! It is so not user friendly, or at least not for me. So I really do have to take the time to read or maybe find tutorials online so that I can edit my pictures and make them look better.

Any suggestions from you photography gurus?

I saw they had Photoshop Elements for Dummies! Maybe that would work out for me, since I'm a total photoshop dummy!
