We are great! We have been home for a little over a week now. Sophie was released from the NICU in Bruges on Friday, April 8th and we made the 6 hour drive back to Germany. We are beyond thrilled to have her home with us. She is such a joy and we feel so very blessed to have this precious baby girl.
She is slowly gaining that much needed weight she needs. On Tuesday we went to the doctor and she had finally reached 5.5 pounds! Her appointment went well and the doctor said she looked completely healthy. We go back next week for her 2 week checkup which will be a little more thorough of an examination.
We are slowly getting her routine figured out and learning more and more about her everyday. It is the most amazing feeling having her home and finally getting the chance to be a family.
And now, I must go make a bottle!
But before I go, I'll attach A LOT of pictures for your enjoyment!

Oh Steph, she is absolutely precious! I'm so happy that Sophie's finally home!
So beautiful! I love how tiny she looks in her crib. Too cute!
Aww, I loved looking at those pictures! Look how tiny she is! Just wait. You'll be putting her in bigger clothes in no time. It goes by quickly. Soak it all in....even the sleepless nights. You will miss it. Wait, no you won't miss that part but you WILL get sad when you have to put her preemie clothes and NB clothes away. *tear*
So, will you be taking some time off work to stay at home with her? Are you planning a trip back to oklahoma anytime soon or are the grandparents going there? I bet it's really hard on them. =(

Oh my goodness sweet girl, I have been gone from the blogging world for way too long - I cannot believe I missed the birth of your GORGEOUS daughter! She is so precious! I am glad you and Jon have been able to bring her home and I hope you are enjoying motherhood - I have no doubt you are FANTASTIC at it. All my love pretty lady! xx
Although so little, such a gem! She looks like she is full of vibrancy and life; especially out of the NICU! It looks like you're going to have your hands full when she gets a little bigger :)
